Chrismas leave will be continued this year, after UNISON successfully negotiated the package two years ago

The Trust has now confirmed that Annual Leave requests for the Christmas Period 2010 will be honoured as agreed in previous years for the Cumbria and the Morecambe Bay areas. Any requests already submitted will be granted on a time stamped basis. This will be for the period  20^th December 2010 to 3^rd January 2011.

Station leave limits will also be unchanged.  The Trust has said that

To ensure that staff leave and shift planning for one of the busiest periods of the year can be completed in advance no leave for the above detailed period will be granted if submitted after the 31^st of October 2010.
